On a Mission for your Performance - the new TruLaser 3030 from Trumpf

After the last laser campaign at Peter Hoppe GmbH, the next step is about to be taken: with the new Trumpf TruLaser 3030, the company will have an even more performing and efficient machine for fulfilling diverse customer requirements.

The decision to go down new roads as well as keeping to the tried and tested does not come easily to some entrepreneurs. It’s different at Peter Hoppe as the entrepreneur from Augustdorf is not only a reliable partner for his clients but also a man with foresight. So it was no surprise that the decision taken in the spring of 2010 to focus on laser technology in addition to metal bending and stamping competency proved to be the right one.  

“We were confident that our decision to offer laser processing along with stamping and bending would bring success. However, we hadn’t counted on the huge extent of this success,” says Peter Hoppe, the owner of the company and continues, “So it was a logical step to acquire a more performing and more efficient machine and to develop our competences in metal processing with this machine.”

This was the case for the first laser installation at the company just as it is for the new TruLaser 3030. With this machine, it is not necessary to modify the laser head for processing sheets up to 20mm because the high-speed installation head cuts sheet thicknesses up to 3mm at high velocity. As with all lasers, there is no costly modification of tools involved. So this installation is ideally suited to the manufacture of prototypes as well as very small and small series and this helps to save on costs. Not to speak of the high precision grade and the integrated palette changer for exchanging metal plates in seconds which also contributes to a quicker and therefore less costly processing of orders.
