Fit for the future ‒ Peter Hoppe GmbH is investing in its stamping

“Stamping is not only one of our most important mainstays, but also continues to be the most economic turnkey solution with adequate piece numbers,” explains Peter Hoppe from Augustdorf. He has just invested in the future with an increase in staff in the stamping area.

StanzteileUntil the extension of the operation in the area of laser technology well over a year ago, Peter Hoppe GmbH had a clear focus on stamping with continuous innovative further development. Today too, the core competence of the enterprise lies in this area. The service provider who is valued well beyond the country’s borders provides production in this field with a high degree of automation as well as high flexibility and short setup times. “We have always been well positioned in stamping technology,” remarks Peter Hoppe confidently. “We can even measure up to Asian competition successfully.” With all the precision and modernness of the laser technique, classic stamping is still extremely economical with higher piece numbers. Clients know this – demand is growing. A good reason for the metal working company to focus its attention on stamping technology in particular when it comes to increased investment.

Peter Hoppe GmbH is ready for the good prospects in the area: with Detlef Schilb, the stamping section is getting a new manager. He is a qualified engineering technician and has long years of experience in the area of metalworking. The aim is to make production processes even more efficient.

But recruitment of new staff is just one building block for the future. To be able to react even more quickly to customer requirements, the contractor has significantly increased its warehouse capacity. Peter Hoppe expounds, “With the new warehouse hall, procedures are shorter and we can react more quickly and generate more resources.” On a surface of 1500 m², the operation now has extensive plate, coil and finished parts warehousing as well as state-of-the-art high bay racking for spare parts. “This way, important components can be accessed for customers in a very short time,” adds Peter Hoppe. In-house logistics ensure that ordered parts are at the right place at the right time. For spur-of-the-moment small deliveries, a pick-up truck is available as of immediately.
